Customs brokerage questions

Not covered here? Ask a coordinator.

Which documents do you need?

Usually the commercial invoice, packing list and bill of lading or air waybill. Some goods also need permits or certificates.

What happens if customs examines my cargo?

We coordinate the exam, keep you updated, and arrange release and delivery as soon as it is cleared.

Do I need a continuous bond?

If you import several times a year, a continuous bond is usually cheaper than buying a single entry bond each time.

How are duties calculated?

Duties depend on the tariff code, the value of the goods and the country of origin. We estimate them before arrival.
